Public Education Program
North York Women’s Shelter can come to your organization and provide information sessions, seminars or training workshops on issues related to domestic violence. Presentations are often made to schools, businesses, hospitals, religious groups, and various other community agencies. This service is provided free of charge.

Girlz Gab
Girlz Gab is a NYWS lunch hour program for students at William Lyon Mackenzie High School. The group is designed to empower young women by providing them with safe space to build their confidence and self-esteem. The program focuses on healthy relationships, dating, self esteem, body image/media, bullying and anything else the girls want to discuss.
